I find WRV and the rest of those shops really snotty and overpriced. PBH has good prices and helpful staff. You can go in and ask questions without feeling intimidated.

I got my first long board here, and when I got it, the employees were very helpful, especially since they knew I was a novice. They also have most of the equipment any type of surfer would be looking for at pretty reasonable prices.
